Gonzalo Hidalgo, MD, FAAN
Neurologist
Dr. Hidalgo is a board-certified neurologist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and certified in Neuroimaging by the UCNS. He is also certified in Neurosonology by the American Society of Neuroimaging.
He completed his medical and neurological training at the University of Concepción School of Medicine, Boston University Medical Center, LSU Medical Center in New Orleans, and the University of Texas in Houston.
Dr. Hidalgo is the founder of the Neuro Medical Clinic of Cenla and Research Center. He has served as both a national and international speaker and is the principal investigator (PI) and sub-investigator (sub-PI) in multiple clinical trials, with a special focus on Alzheimer’s disease, memory disorders, and stroke.
He currently serves as the Director of the Stroke Center at Christus Cabrini. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at LSU Health Shreveport and at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) – Louisiana campus.
He is an active member of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ariel Antezana, MD
Neurologist
Dr. Antezana is board certified Neurologist by the The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
He completed his medical and neurological training in University of San Simon School of Medicine, SUNY Downstate University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as chief resident. He also finished his fellowship in neuroimmunology and Multiple Sclerosis at NYU Medical School.
He is the founder of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of CENLA. This center has a recognition by the National MS society as a comprehensive center for MS care. He is treating patients with MS and related conditions with all the approved disease modifying therapies and also manages all other symptomatic treatment of MS.
Dr. Antezana has several publications in peer to peer journals and professional meetings. He is the principal investigator in numerous multiple sclerosis clinical trials at his center. He serves as speaker and advisory boards in local and nationwide meetings.
